Compare and contrast living in an apartment and in the dormitory (II)

I think that living in an apartment and living in the dormitory have both their advantages and disadvantages. I have been living in the dormitory for almost two years and I feel very satisfied with this, the advantages for the students are many: you do not need to take a bus to go to class, the cost of the room and food in (on) the campus are cheaper than that of outside, so you can save a lot of money. Moreover if your roommates are also your classmates, maybe the friendship improves. On the other hand, the space is reduced ( limited) and it is not exactly your space, in occasions (on occasion) you can not [[choice with who live]]==>chosse with whom you will live and your roommates will be people you do not know.

Unlike living in the dormitory, living in an apartment is more expensive. In other words you will spend more money in (for) rent, electricity, water, Internet connection, etc. Also, if you do not have motorcycle, you need to take a bus or MTR, so you need to [[schedule better]]==>well schedule your time. However if you find a good place you can have more space for yourself and privacy, and maybe you can have the option to make your meals unlike that in the dormitory.

To conclude, I think that from the moment that you leave home to begin a more independent life, these two different environments are both good to learn a lot about life, [[respect, how to deal with that taking your time and others good habits.]]==>?? Do you mean "How to deal with that depending on time and your ability to adapt to life."
