Why did you choose your major?

[[I major in mechanical engineering, because it interests me, and the other reason is my sisters are working at the kind of mechanical companies. Besides, I want to learn more about something that relate to mechanic.]]==>It would be better that you can write a topic sentence to include the three reasons in the above. I have two sisters (going into the job that relate to mechanic just)==>who had a job that was related to mechanical engineering like mechanical drawing and mold drawing since (when) I was in junior high school. They told me that their career (jobs) had stable income, and if you were excellent in the job, you would not worry about the problem of unemployment, they were (actual)==>life examples. (Then, they affected me, so)==>Under the influence of them, I chose drafting department at industrial vocational high school. At first, I was worried about that whether it was my interest, because I had never contacted drafting really. But fortunately, after (learnt three years)==>three year's study, I understood that mechanical drawing more and more, (just like)==>such as how to draw with different perspectives, and how to use the software to design a produce (product), etc. It let me feel great when I succeeded in designing a produce (product). Hence, I was sure it was my interest, and I decided to continue study in the same department at college. But colleges have not (no) departments of mechanical drawing, and the one which is closer to it is mechanical engineer. So, I chose to major in mechanical engineering (unwaveringly)==>??? and enjoyed studying in the department.
