why did i choose my major (second ver.)?

I may be (maybe) choose the major of electronic engineering (for honor)==>What do you mean by that? Why did i (I) say for honor? I think it may relate with my father's friends.When I study in (institute of technology which is not famous among people)==>Do mean "When I was studying in my junior college, which is not famous) in Taiwan. My father's friends or relatives alway ask me what is your studying (delete it, 去掉) school? I just anser (told) the truth; however, (I always get hurt from them)=>their reaction to it always hurt me. To make them treat me with increased respect, I make up my mind to study in a famous major in a famous school. that (That) is one of the reasons why I choose (chose) my major. Another reason and the primary reason why I study in this major is interest in my major. (Begin in my childhood)==>The reason could be traced back to my childhood. When I was young, my parents bought a computer for me. At that time, I just had no idea with it(cpu is 80286). This new machine is curious (not an appropriate word here) and fresh for me .I tried to comprehend it and had a lot of fun in (with) it. When the computer break (broke) down,I would try to repaired it and (begin interested)==>started to be interested in computer structure. So, (I have two reason for me to reading the major--honor and interest)==>There are two reasons for me to choose my major: being repected by others and my interest.
